She Did It!

On May 16, 2025, Cara walked down the aisle and accepted her certificate of completion. She was done with high school. She will be moving on to new experiences and new friends. Friends and family came to cheer Cara on. It was a special day. It was also an emotional one for me.

As of the writing of this message, August 22, 2025, we are pursuing a placement for Cara to a day program that will help her with socialization and gaining independence. She starts this Tuesday and that will likely prove to be another emotional day for me.
