1 Peter 1:20-21
Take Time to Pray
Psalm 25:1-3
1 To You, O LORD, I life up my soul;
2 in You I trust, O my God.
Do not let me be put to shame,
nor let my enemies triumph over me.
3 No one whose hope is in You
will ever be put to shame,
but they will be put to shame
who are treacherous without excuse. (wantonly treacherous)
Examine
20 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. 21 Through Him you believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and glorified Him, and so your faith and hope are in God.

About God
· Jesus was with God and was God before creation.
· Jesus has risen from the dead.
· Jesus is our Savior.
· Jesus gives us faith.
Lesson
· Our faith does not come from ourselves, but from Jesus.
· We cannot earn our salvation.
