Take Time to Pray
Psalm 16:7-8
7 I will praise the LORD, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
8 I have set the LORD always before me.
Because He is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken.
Examine
13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. 14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15 But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."

God
God is gracious
Jesus is coming back.
God is our Father.
God is good.
God is knowledge.

Lesson
We must be prepared at all times for Jesus' return.
Our hope of salvation is based solely on God's grace and not on anything we do.
We are to be in this world, but not of it.
We no longer have the excuse of ignorance.
We are holy as God is holy because Jesus makes us holy.
We are to obey God our Father.
